TSUBASA RC Crosses Bleach

Third time's the charm and Kuro got its very first layout art. Title tells that I made a crossover with Kurogane from TRC and Ichigo from Bleach. It took me about 5 hours to finish this artwork with Sakura Picma Microns. I really liked this artwork and it was a part of Kuro's layout for almost half a year. (Source: Bleach manga volume 7 chapter 55 "Shut") Date of this artwork is sadly unknown.

Kurogane

This artwork was my second attempt for Kuro's new layout, this time featuring grumpy Kurogane. With this one I decided to give Tsubasa's pencil board style a try. Original sketch size was barely 3 cm x 3 cm. ;) This artwork took me about 5 hours to get finished and I'm pleased with most of its parts. This artwork still lacked something and I started drawing a new layout art for the third time. Date of this artwork is sadly unknown.

Kurogane

After almost one year break I finally drew something CLAMP related, this time Kurogane from TSUBASA RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE. His pose comes from an eyecatch of the anime. I sketched, inked and played with white paint a whole week from May 16th to 22nd 2005. I originally planned to use this artwork for Kuro's first layout, but decided to draw another version, as seen above.

Chibi Nataku

I colored this little Nataku on June 30th 2004 with PhotoStudio 2000. This time it didn't take that much time to find the right colors, only small editing was needed and artwork was finished in 2 and ½ hours. This Nataku is a mix from X manga and anime: his earrings and eye color come from manga when clothing is mostly from anime.

Ferio from Magic Knight Rayearth

I colored this artwork with watercolors and watersoluble pencils between a night of June 22nd and 23rd 2004. Right afer I started painting, I remembered how I hated painting with watercolors. For example background was very frustrating to paint, but my mood got better after I had painted Ferio. Total time I used in this artwork was almost 7 hours, so I didn't get much sleep at that time.

Nataku from X

Yet again I used PhotoStudio 2000 for coloring this artwork which I finished on June 2nd 2004. Finding right colors and coloring small areas, like hair, took me most of my time. Bubbles were also tricky and this artwork was finally finished after 5 hours of work. Nataku's nose looks bit too small with shadows and part of thinnest lines blend with background, but that doesn't bother me that muh anymore.

Clef from Rayearth OVA

This old artwork was colored with PhotoStudio 2000 on March 26th 2004. Computer coloring took me about 3 and ½ hours. My coloring skills were not that great at that time, but years have given me different viewpoints and also experinces of different coloring styles.
