If I sketch digitally, I use a free software called Shi-Painter Pro. At the moment I don't have a possibility to add a drawing board to Kuro because, um, I don't know how one can register or add a code for the drawing board to one's domain. If someone knows about this and wants to share a tip or two, I'm glad to hear them. Despite this weirdness I manage with this software, even though I have to draw sketches in Firefox and transfer them to Photoshop as screen captures for cropping and saving. And nothing is going to prevent me from publishing traditionally drawn sketches, so why feel bad about small technical issues. :)

Captain My first Luffy! :D I drew him looking a bit blue (even though he is "red" *bad pun*). What is on his mind? Just to get this sketch done I had to reinstall both Shipainter and Shipainter Pro, when suddenly both of them had stopped working. February 13th 2010 was the date I sketched this test Luffy. *cough cough*

It's Possible This Sanji belongs to a same category with latter Zoro. I sketched him on July 20th 2009. I accidently drew Dartboard too close to the outside wall of the restaurant where hangs a wooden nameplate. Oops. At least Sanji has a nice ribbon for entertaining young ladies. Uke!face was a pure accident, I'm so sorry. :)

It's Possible Oops, I made a mistake to Kuro's layout picture. To my knowledge that ring thing should be around one's middle finger, not index finger. But animators make same kind of mistakes time after time so I can sleep my nights without bigger worries. And knowing Zoro's sense of direction this could actually happen. I brewed up this little parody for quite a long time and I finally drew it out of my head on July 19th 2009.

"Dream On" It's very common that I dream about weird, obscure, disturbing, totally absurd, oppressive and even scary things almost every night. Certainly it's extremely rare that I dream about manga characters. On March 27th I dreamed about Sanji: he was starting to get hysterical and the only way to calm him down was Zoro with his firm grip and an order to look him in the eyes. Hand movements and fear in the eyes were the most powerful things I remembered after I woke up. And darn, Zoro's hands are too small.

Marianne Dress Shirt I downloaded Shipainter Pro somewhere around late February and early March. On March 23rd 2009 I finally lost control and started to draw. It seems that I was really pissed off with my studies. Sorry for kicking your ass, Zoro. D: (Marianne refers to Fazer's candies, their wrapping paper has a same style as Zoro's dress shirt. Or at least that's what I thought when I saw his shirt. :D)
